We think Labradors are one of God's great gifts to Mankind, and to that end have now bred five Labrador litters, all from the same line. We are now on the fifth generation of puppies, i.e. we started breeding from the great-great grandmother of the pups that arrived in 2012. Two further litters have been born during the 2012 autumn, one to Milly 2 (10 pups) and a second to Morris, as dad, (9 pups). That is 49 pups in ten years.
We have the Kennel Club registered name "River House Labradors".

What follows are a series of pictures which we think will amuse and entertain visitors to this site, and will be useful for anyone wishing to become an owner of a pup, (or pups), from the new litter.

We will start with our first litter back in 1992, which was a small litter of just three pups. I wrote a little illustrated book for our grandchildren, with a print-run of just one, but here reproduced by the wonders of the internet. Click here for page one, and then keep "turning the pages". It covers Norris's first year in this world. Norris is now ten, and has put up with 30 puppies sharing his home in the intervening years, but he does not seem to mind.

In the August 2012 one of our "pups", Millie 2,  produced no less than ten puppies of her own, so we have added a page to cover their progress. Millie 2, (we have Millie 1, who is Millie 2's grandmother), belongs to Mike and Angela.

We then move on to later litters, which are a series of captioned photographs, which in our view bring out the essence of Labradors: fun-loving, faithful, friendly, man's best friend indeed.
