If you like Labradors, read on!

We think Labradors are one of God's greatest inventions, and to that end have now bred five Labrador litters, all from the same line. We are now on the fourth generation. We have the Kennel Club registered name River House Labradors.

What follows are a whole series of pictures which we think will amuse and entertain visitors to this site.

We will start with our first litter, which was a tiny litter of just three pups. I wrote a little illustrated book for our grandchildren, with a print-run of just one, but here reproduced by the wonders of the internet. Click here for page one, and then keep "turning the pages". It covers Norris's first year in this world. Norris is now nine, and has put up with 30 puppies sharing his home in the intervening years, but he does not seem to mind.

We then move on to later litters, which are a series of captioned photographs, which in our view bring out the essence of Labradors: fun-loving, faithful, friendly, man's best friend indeed.
