        Tulips can be planted in groups of one 
      variety, or as can be seen above, dotted around with other varieties, 
      either singly or in little groups of 10 or so. All of the pictures were 
      taken in our garden. We like planting wall-flowers in our main tulip beds, 
      as can be seen in the right-hand top picture. There is something very 
      satisfying about a bed full of tulips that provides colour for as long as 
      ten weeks. The blooms in the bottom left hand picture are all at least 
      five years old, as we have planted nothing in that bed since 2016.
