Variety: Ranunculus
Flowering height: 10 ins
Month:  May and June
Clare Bulb Co comment: of the buttercup family, Ranunculus are under-rated, and we don't know why!. Above the lady of the house is holding a bunch picked from the garden, which will last for ages in a vase. They come up every year.
We plant them in boxes in the autumn, and transplant them to their final flowering position once their leaves show in about February or March.
They also grow well in baskets, as below, and can be planted direct.
