Dick Wilden has become increasingly popular as it is not too tall and
benefits from a very dense double-petalled flower head carried on sturdy
stems. It naturalises well, the bulbs we see by our river flowering many years
after they were planted. In the picture below we see Dick Wilden in their first year in a customer's garden in Wareham, Dorset.
The Dick Wilden in the picture below have naturalised on a bank near where we walk our dogs! Every year there are more of them.
