Clare Bulb Co comment: Excellent value for money, and nearly as tall as the variety Giganteum, though with smaller flowers. They come up every year, often spreading as the bulbs split. The flowers we see in these pictures are in their tenth year, and are now self-seeding all over the garden.. After the flowers have faded they can be saved, with their stems, and used for indoor decoration.
