Paperwhite are "prepared" bulbs, for
early forcing into flower. If planted up immediately after receiving
them they will flower within six weeks. By keeping them in a dark, cool
place, the flowering time can be delayed. A fridge is perfect. Paperwhite have an exceptionally strong and fine scent, which can fill a room. Plant five to a pot for the best results, or more if the pot is big enough. This picture was taken in our kitchen in January, (note snow). The lower picture was kindly sent to us by a customer, showing their Paperwhites standing outside their entrance lobby, their aroma welcoming all their visitors.
