Cultivation tips:  Plants are hardy in  southern regions. They can also be grown in containers or lifted each autumn for storing over winter in frost-free conditions. Store as you would dahlias. For planting outdoors, choose a sunny position and a well-drained soil. 30cm (12in) apart. Water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Flowers most of the summer. Plant just below the soil surface.
