| Variety: Decorative Dahlias | ||
| Flowering height: up to 4 ft | ||
| Month(s): July until the frosts | ||
| Cultivation tips: Plant 18-24in apart. Protect your Dahlias from wind damage. After the first frost, lift tubers and lay the roots and foliage in a frost-free shed or garage. Once the foliage has died back, cut off approximately 15cm (6") from the tuber. Store in dry peat in a frost-free position. They can be left in the ground with a mulch of bark in warmer climates with lighter soils. Re-plant into the garden the following spring. | ||
