My favourite place is lying on
the bed. The bed is very comfortable, and when master and mistress go out
I sometimes go upstairs and sleep on the bed until I hear them return.
Then I creep back down stairs.
Unfortunately this does not always work, as my
mistress feels the bed where I have been lying and shouts, “Norris, you
have been lying on the bed again, haven’t you, you naughty boy?” How
does she know?
