If you are reading this you could well be the secretary or events coordinator for a gardening group or club, looking for somewhere nice and interesting to visit. That’s us!

When to visit: We are open for group visits throughout September and the first week of October. During this period the garden is in full autumn colour, as the pictures below show, so well worth a look around. More importantly, from our point of view, we will have our full range of bulbs on display in the shop. We can accommodate visits six days of the week, and by special arrangement, Sundays. Evening visits are also possible. Groups of up to thirty persons can be accommodated.

Administration: There is no charge although we expect visitors to avail themselves of our lovely bulbs. Our team of four will be on hand to help with the garden and in the shop. All that is necessary is to book in, by email or by phone, (01787 277441). The garden is wheelchair friendly, though not the shop. We have toilet facilities. Parking is in the A1092 road that is in front of our premises. There is a lay-by across the road for a coach.

What else is there to see? The Clare Castle Country Park adjoins our property. Follow this link  http://clarecastlecountrypark.co.uk/  for full information on what the Park has to offer. Clare itself is a historic wool town, with a wealth of architecturally interesting house and of course our famous wool church. There is a wide range of shops. Follow this link www.clare-UK.com for more information.

Refreshments: We are not in a position to offer refreshments ourselves, although Clare has several teashops and pubs. We recommend the No1 Platform café which is located in the old station master’s house within the Country Park. Picture Gallery:  the pictures below give you an idea of what there is to see when you visit us. You will not be disappointed!
