Clare Bulb Co comment: Tulips can be planted in groups of one variety, or as can be seen above, dotted around with other varieties, either singly or in little groups of 10 or so. We like planting wall-flowers in our main tulip beds, as can be seen in the right-hand top picture. There is something very satisfying about a bed full of tulips that provides colour for as long as ten weeks.
