Clare Bulb Co comment: Carlton is the world's favourite daffodil, i.e. it is the most commonly grown variety. This is because it is strong stemmed, late flowering, and has a large, long-lasting flower. I took the picture above outside Aberdeen, so they are pretty hardy too. The picture below shows some long established Carlton flowering in our wood.
