Clare Bulb Co comment: Autumn crocus are sold in September, as they bud up in August, and must be in the ground before mid-October.  They flower almost immediately, being an attractive pale lilac colour. They may be grown in a container, as here, or in the ground. Remember, they make leaves in the spring, which must be allowed to grow, and then die back naturally.
